Cequence Security reported substantial growth in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2026, marking its most successful quarter to date with the largest deal in its history.
The record momentum is attributed to a surge in demand for application, API, and agentic AI security across sectors such as telecommunications, financial services, and energy and utilities.
Regions experiencing this growth include the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.
Expansion Through Strategic Partnerships
This quarter's success is underpinned by the growing adoption of the Cequence platform, widely used by enterprises to protect their applications and data in the evolving agentic era. As businesses increasingly deploy AI agents, the necessity for robust security measures becomes paramount.
Cequence's CEO, Ameya Talwalkar, noted, “Enterprises are racing to put agentic AI to work, but the security foundation to support it simply hasn't kept pace. Our customers, whether they're defending against sophisticated fraud, securing critical APIs, or safely connecting AI agents to their most sensitive applications, are all solving versions of the same problem. This quarter's results reflect what happens when you've spent a decade building toward this moment. The market is ready, and so are we.”
Global Market Penetration and Customer Wins
The quarter saw the addition of several new customers in financial services, government, and critical infrastructure sectors, with significant successes in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, South Korea, Brazil, and the United States.
The company achieved the largest transaction in its history with a telecommunications company in Japan. New partnerships were formed with GuidePoint, Aplidigital, and IT-Harmony, marking a focused effort on security-focused collaborations.
