Despite evolving needs and advancements in technology, Dallmeier’s solutions have been trusted for their reliability and adaptability for over a decade. The casino's ongoing renovations and expansions necessitated an upgrade to the current system, as described by Jolene Stewart, Executive Director of Security and Surveillance at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel.

System Adaptation and Expansion

The Washington State Gambling Commission mandates continuous surveillance in casinos, which prompted the casino to update its surveillance system to meet new requirements while maintaining its existing structure.

Priorities included meeting regulatory standards and ensuring a secure and comfortable setting for guests and staff. The expansion focused on enhancing reliability, optimizing processes, improving system connectivity, and facilitating the integration of new technologies.

Technological Enhancements

The expansion involved upgrading the existing system exclusively with Dallmeier components

The expansion involved upgrading the existing system exclusively with Dallmeier components, such as the Hemisphere® SeMSy® (version 5) video management system and Domera® cameras.

These dome cameras, equipped with pre-installed neural networks and integrated edge analytics applications, provide diverse intelligent video analysis capabilities. Additionally, they feature motorized three-axis adjustment for convenient remote configuration, ensuring centralized control of about 1,500 cameras and effective video data analysis.

Collaboration and Implementation

The project was executed in collaboration with integrator North American Video (NAV), who adapted the system to match the spatial and operational requirements at the casino. Joe McDevitt, President of Dallmeier USA, highlighted the importance of this cooperative effort: "The long-standing and solution-oriented cooperation with all parties involved was crucial in enabling us to jointly implement a solution that meets the specific requirements."

Security Technology Evolution

Jolene Stewart highlighted the system's dependability and minimal maintenance needs: "We have continuously expanded our video security technology over the past decade to meet our requirements." This robust system proves economically beneficial over time due to its reliability, minimizing costly replacements and emergency service calls.
