  • NEXCOM partners with Intel to showcase Edge AI innovations at COMPUTEX 2026.
  • Introducing dual-arm AI for precision assembly, enhancing manufacturing production efficiency.
  • Humanoid robot demo highlights Functional Safety tech ensuring co-working reliability.

NEXCOM Group (8234) is set to highlight cutting-edge advances in edge AI through a collaboration with Intel at COMPUTEX 2026 in Taipei.

Visitors can explore these developments at the "Robotics & Edge AI Pavilion" located in TWTC Hall 1, Booth #A0618. Central to their showcase is the theme "Physical AI and Manufacturing On-Site," which will focus on demonstrating the integration of visual perception with high-precision real-time motion control in smart manufacturing. NEXCOM's bottom-up edge AI architecture aims to revolutionize data acquisition and intelligent decision-making in manufacturing environments.

Complex Industrial Scenarios

A collaborative venture between NEXCOM Robotic Solutions (NexCOBOT) and Inventec, the dual-arm AI Perception and Collaboration system underscores the role of Physical AI in tackling complex industrial challenges.

Utilizing the NEX619 edge computing platform, the system executes AI vision-based trajectory planning combined with human detection and gesture recognition. Moreover, the GRC2 M300-I controller ensures real-time motion control, enabling high-precision assembly processes that enhance production efficiency.

AI Production Master for SME Management

Decision-makers can swiftly access key performance indicators such as machine efficiency

The "AI Production Master" emerges as a strategic solution targeting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), offering real-time production monitoring features.

By employing NISE110 gateways for CNC data capture and NexDATA on AIGE1000 for data standardization, the system leverages AI-X with Intel® Arc™ Pro B60. This enables local Generative AI processing for deep analysis and GPT services, safeguarding sensitive production data. Decision-makers can swiftly access key performance indicators such as machine efficiency and projected completion timelines using natural language inputs.

Robot Demonstrations and Functional Safety

With a focus on safety in human-robot interactions, NEXCOM Robotic Solutions in collaboration with Graphen will display a humanoid robot solution. This demonstration, powered by the MARS400 T10 and RCB400 T20 controllers, showcases the robot’s ability to execute tasks like waving and picking up objects. These actions underline the significance of Functional Safety technology in ensuring dependable operation in cooperative environments.

Attendees at the Robotics & Edge AI Pavilion will also have opportunities to learn from experts about the implementation of edge computing in robotics and production management, courtesy of Intel technology.

Expert-Led Discussions

A series of talks will further explore the practical applications of edge AI. Tim Juan, Vice President of NEXCOM Industry AIoT, will lead a session on the transformation from conceptual design to production line implementation tailored for SME manufacturing on June 3. Joey Lin, Assistant Vice President of NEXCOM Robotic Solutions, will discuss the role of Physical AI controllers in autonomous machinery on June 4.

For those visiting COMPUTEX between June 2 and June 5, 2026, additional insights into NEXCOM's innovations can be gained by visiting their demos at Booth #A0618. Attendees completing a survey stand a chance to receive a custom NEXCOM Tote Bag, subject to availability.
