The installation includes KeyPro® software, providing Mr. Camilleri with the capability to monitor key activities through any network-connected desktop. This software facilitates tracing key movements, generating and printing detailed reports, and creating audit trails. Such automated record-keeping reduces the man-hours needed for key searches or incident follow-ups.
Security and Accountability
Mr. Camilleri emphasized the importance of the system for liability and documentation purposes, saying, "For liability issues and other reasons, it is important for us to know and document the whereabouts of keys and the length of time that keys are out. KeyWatcher gives us that information in an easy-to-read report." He recommends the product to other large facilities in need of effective key control.
