Mission 500, a charity closely allied with the security sector dedicated to aiding children in need across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, has announced notable leadership changes.
The organization is promoting Tristin Vaccaro to Executive Director from her current role as Community Engagement Coordinator. Additionally, Phil Leverette, CEO of ECT Fire & Security, is joining the Mission 500 Board of Directors.

Tristin Vaccaro, who previously held the position of Community Engagement Coordinator since May 2024, has contributed significantly to Mission 500 by utilizing her skills in social media management, public relations, and event planning.

Before her tenure at Mission 500, she made a name for herself as the owner of Vaccaro Copywriting & Marketing Solutions, gaining respect within the physical security industry. Her new role as Executive Director will involve taking on greater responsibilities in communications, operations, and outreach for the charity.

Phil Leverette's addition to the Board of Directors is another significant development. As a veteran of Operation Desert Storm with over three decades of experience building and leading organizations in the security industry, Leverette currently leads Extreme Custom Technology, Inc. (ECT) Fire & Security. His company provides commercial fire alarms, suppression systems, and technical integration services. Additionally, Leverette is the founder of Pure Aqua Vitae and serves on the board of HavenLock, a manufacturer of access control solutions.
