Minuteman Security & Life Safety has announced the appointment of Doug Cherney as the new Director of Critical Infrastructure, under the leadership of Eric Joseph.
With over 20 years of experience in the security sector, Cherney brings a wealth of knowledge in securing critical infrastructure, energy operations, and safeguarding personnel and assets. In this role, he will oversee the growth of Minuteman's Critical Infrastructure department, aiming to enhance security operations and resilience for organizations in this rapidly evolving sector.
Experience in Protecting Critical Infrastructure
Cherney previously worked as a Business Development Manager for Energy at Motorola Solutions, where he was instrumental in enhancing security measures for energy-based organizations. His career also includes leadership roles at Prosegur and Rekor Systems, with a focus on channel partnerships and advanced surveillance technologies.

Prior to joining Minuteman, Cherney served as Business Development Manager – Energy at Motorola Solutions, where he focused on helping energy-sector organizations strengthen their physical, cybersecurity, and operational security initiatives. He also held leadership positions with Prosegur and Rekor Systems, specializing in channel partnerships, surveillance technologies, and advanced LPR solutions.
