The German video technology company Dallmeier is set to showcase its advanced video solutions designed specifically for casinos at the World Game Protection Conference (WGPC) in Las Vegas, scheduled from March 3 to 5.
At booth T1, attendees will witness innovative products such as the Panomera® V8 multifocal sensor camera, AI-based video analytics, Casino Automation Technology (CAT), and the Hemisphere® SeMSy® video management system.
Advanced Surveillance Solutions for Casinos
Modern casinos require comprehensive monitoring capabilities to cover not only gaming floors but also large outdoor spaces, access roads, and parking areas efficiently.
Dallmeier's new Panomera® V8 camera utilizes cutting-edge multifocal sensor technology combined with artificial intelligence, delivering a 180° view without blind spots, even in extensive areas. This system ensures continuous awareness while allowing close-up viewing without losing the overall context, making it ideal for monitoring areas like parking lots and delivery zones with fewer installations.
Enhancements in Dealer Efficiency
CAT streamlines numerous manual processes for table game managers
The Casino Automation Technology (CAT) presented by Dallmeier serves as a robust tool to boost both operational efficiency and profitability throughout the gaming sector. By automating and overseeing table games such as blackjack and baccarat, CAT streamlines numerous manual processes for table game managers. This technology ultimately aims to enhance dealer efficiency and increase the profitability of table game operations.
Seamless Management and Data Integration
Dallmeier offers the Hemisphere® SeMSy® management software, designed for intuitive and professional casino system management.
This modular software platform provides tailored solutions for a variety of casino management functions, from real-time interventions and alarm management to analytics and business statistics throughout the casino. A crucial feature is the integration of external data sources such as RFID, slot machines, and dealing shoes, allowing comprehensive video and event data linkage within surveillance workflows.
Real-Time Analytics and AI-Driven Improvements
Dallmeier leverages AI applications that run directly on cameras for real-time analytics
Artificial intelligence significantly enhances video technology's scope, assisting casinos in optimizing operations. Dallmeier leverages AI applications that run directly on cameras (edge computing) for real-time analytics, reducing dependency on external servers.
One application, People Counting, facilitates precise visitor flow analysis by establishing multiple counting zones, setting thresholds, and automatically notifying when limits are breached.
Enhancing Video Information Technology
For rapid analysis within video recordings, the "AI Person Attributes App" is available, enhancing the search for individuals with limited known information. Users can filter searches by specifics like clothing color or additional characteristics like headwear or bags, streamlining the evaluation process with relevant sequence previews and direct sequence access.
Dallmeier's Pioneering Role in Video Technology
Since its inception in 1984 by Dieter Dallmeier, the company has grown significantly, employing hundreds worldwide, with over 250 staff at its Regensburg, Germany headquarters.
Known for pioneering video information technology, Dallmeier serves various sectors such as casinos, smart cities, airports, logistics, and more in over 60 countries. The company focuses on creating tangible benefits for its customers with innovations that offer low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and high Return on Investment (ROI).
Commitment to Quality and Sustainability
"Made in Germany" signifies Dallmeier's dedication to high standards in data protection, cybersecurity, and ethical responsibility. The company's operations in Regensburg encompass all research, development, and manufacturing stages from component to finished product. Dallmeier emphasizes quality, short supply chains, and environmental protection as part of its comprehensive approach.
The German video technology manufacturer Dallmeier will present its intelligent video solutions for casinos at booth T1 during the World Game Protection Conference (WGPC) in Las Vegas from March 03 to 05. Highlights include the new Panomera® V8 multifocal sensor camera, AI-based video analytics, CAT Casino Automation Technology, and the Hemisphere® SeMSy® video management system.
Today’s casinos need to monitor not only the gaming floor environment, but also expansive outdoor areas, access roads, and parking facilities – seamlessly and efficiently. With the new Panomera® V8, Dallmeier introduces a revolutionary camera that combines state-of-the-art multifocal sensor technology and artificial intelligence in a single system – delivering a seamless 180° view with no blind spots and highly precise analytics even across large areas.
Improving dealer efficiency
Panomera® V8 provides continuous situational awareness while also enabling flexible close-up views without losing context. This makes it possible to cover parking lots, delivery zones, or BOH entrances with significantly fewer installation points.
With Casino Automation Technology (CAT), Dallmeier presents a powerful solution to significantly increase operational efficiency and profitability across the entire gaming area. CAT monitors and automates table games (e.g., blackjack, baccarat) and supports table game managers in reducing numerous manual tasks – with the goal of noticeably improving dealer efficiency and the overall profitability of table game operations.
Casino management tasks
For professional and intuitive system management, the Hemisphere® SeMSy® (SeMSy® 5) management software is available. The modular Hemisphere® software platform enables individually tailored solutions for a wide range of casino management tasks: from real-time intervention and clear alarm and event management to analytics and business statistics for the entire casino.
Another key focus is the integration of external data sources into Hemisphere® SeMSy® – in the gaming environment, for example, from RFID, slot machines, or dealing shoes. Via appropriate interfaces, events from external systems can be received and processed in the database to closely link video and events within the workflows of surveillance and compliance teams.
Multiple counting zones
Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly important in video technology and now extends far beyond traditional security applications: it helps casinos optimize processes and increase efficiency. At Dallmeier, AI applications run directly on the camera (edge), enabling real-time analytics without relying on external servers.
One example is People Counting, which provides reliable analysis of visitor flows at entrances or in large-area scenes by defining multiple counting zones, setting thresholds, and automatically triggering notifications when limits are exceeded or not reached.
Video information technology
For faster research in recordings, the “AI Person Attributes App” is available. It supports the rapid search for individuals when only limited information is available. Instead of reviewing long sequences in full, users can filter specifically by attributes such as the dominant color tone of clothing (upper and lower body); depending on the scene, additional indicators such as headwear, a backpack, or a bag can also help. The results are displayed with preview images and, with a single click, lead directly to the relevant sequences – significantly accelerating the evaluation process.
In 1984, Dieter Dallmeier founded what is now Dallmeier electronic – not in the proverbial garage, but in a garden shed in Regensburg, Germany. Today, the company, which can justifiably call itself a hidden champion for video information technology "Made in Germany", has several hundred employees worldwide, more than 250 of them at the company headquarters in the center of Regensburg alone.
Critical infrastructure facilities
Dallmeier's camera, recording, software, and analysis solutions optimize security and processes for B2B end customers in a wide range of industries in over 60 countries. The focus is on users from the casino, smart city, airports, logistics, stadiums, and industrial sectors. But also, banks, critical infrastructure facilities as well as medium-sized companies from all sectors.
With pioneering innovations, Dallmeier has succeeded time and again in placing itself at the forefront of technology: From the world's first digital image storage system with motion analysis in 1992, the patented "multifocal sensor technology" Panomera® with its "Mountera®" mounting system, to the latest Domera® camera family, which allows up to 300 camera variants with only 18 components. These and many other innovations provide real, tangible customer benefits. And with a low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and a high Return on Investment (ROI) they can easily compete with systems produced and supplied from low-wage countries.
Complete manufacturing process
With "Made in Germany", we also guarantee our customers the highest standards in data protection, cybersecurity, and ethical responsibility. With high quality and short supply chains, we also ensure – almost incidentally – sustainability and environmental protection.
From our prestigious headquarters in the center of Regensburg, Dallmeier not only carries out its own research and development but also the complete manufacturing process – from component to product to solution.
