Hardy brings more than 15 years of computer industry sales management and corporate leadership experience
Hardy will be responsible for managing sales and channel marketing operations for D-Link’s security products

D-Link recently announced the appointment of Michael Hardy as Vice President of Channel and Enterprise Sales. In his new role, Hardy will be responsible for managing sales and channel marketing operations for D-Link’s networking, storage, IP surveillance, and security products designed to meet the needs of today’s demanding enterprise IT environments.

“Michael’s deep understanding of channel management issues combined with his extensive technical enterprise IT marketing background makes for a powerful addition to D-Link’s executive team,” said Albert Ling, executive vice president, D-Link Systems, Inc. “Mike is skilled at effectively blending multiple sales and marketing strategies into winning programs that drive meaningful, bottom line results. We’re excited to have him on our team.”

Hardy brings more than 15 years of computer industry sales management and corporate leadership experience to his new position at D-Link. Most recently he was vice president of sales and business development at Waterford Technology, developers of file and email management solutions. Prior to that he served as Regional President of Incentra, an IT services and solutions provider; Branch Manager at Technology Integration Group, an IT systems integrator; Vice President of Sales, Americas at Quantum Corporation, a leading manufacturer of data storage systems; and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Chaparral Network Storage.

“I believe there is a real opportunity to significantly expand D-Link’s position in the enterprise IT market, and this starts with reinforcing our relationships with existing and future channel partners,” said Hardy. “I look forward to developing new and innovative programs that allow our trusted channel partners to lead deals with D-Link solutions, win deals with D-Link solutions, and make D-Link one of their preferred IT vendors.”

Hardy earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science for the University of California, San Diego. He currently resides in San Clemente, Calif.
