Mayflex Strengthens Its Security Sales Team With Appointment Of Two New Field Sales Representatives

John Reid and Peter Collins join Mayflex with 20 years experience of the security industry

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and electronic security solutions distributor, has strengthened its security division with the appointment of two new field sales representatives. John Reid and Peter Collins join Mayflex with 20 years worth of experience of the security industry between them.

John joins the sales team as account manager covering the South Wales, Mid Wales and the whole of the western side of the Midlands, the North West and Lancashire. Before joining Mayflex John worked as Area Sales Manager for Siemens Security Products and prior to that he worked for Norbain covering a variety of sales roles.

Peter joins Mayflex from Bosch Security Systems where he worked as Area Sales Manager and has extensive experience of selling analog, hybrid and IP CCTV systems. Peter takes up an account management role covering The North East regions and Scotland.

Gary Harmer, Director of Sales – Electronic Security at Mayflex commented, “The recruitment of two further sales people, will assist us with our plans to grow the IP security business by a significant amount over the next few years. Ensuring we have an experienced team of sales people in place to do this plays a pivotal role in our success.”

Gary continued, “We have some interesting and exciting times ahead having just become the UK’s sole Avigilon value-added distributor as well as exhibiting at IFSEC 2013 which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham.”

Gary concluded, “Mayflex can be found in Hall 4 on stand C20, John, Peter and the rest of the security sales team will be on the stand to assist with any enquiries and help customers with their Converged IP requirements.”
