| AMG’s collaboration allows Ibam to expand and upgrade the security and Public Address infrastructure in the Mall |
AMG Systems, the British manufacturer of sophisticated Megapixel cameras and CCTV transmission technology, and systems integrator Ibam Systems have completed a vastly enhanced security system within Sharjah’s 250-store Sahara Mall in Dubai, UAE.
Liz George, Project Engineer at Ibam Systems, says, “Compared to locally-available fiber transmitters, I found AMG’s equipment to be very simple to install. What I personally noticed was that the link between the receiver and transmitter was almost instantaneous once they were powered up. The build quality of the equipment is of a high grade and the whole subrack and housing of the products gives the solution high class visual appearance. The high level of support we received from the AMG team was unexpected and very welcome. I would personally recommend their support and solutions to other Systems Integrators and for any of our future projects requiring fiber solutions.”

In total, there are now 160 cameras throughout the entire complex, 27 of which feature PTZ. Areas covered by the new camera systems include parking lots, walkways, and entrances and enable us to ensure the safety of the clients and staff of the 250 stores now housed within the complex. For Public Address, the system is divided into multiple zones to provide targeted announcements to different areas.”
