Jordan Avnaim has been appointed as the Global Chief Information Security Officer at Allied Universal®, a provider of security and facility services.
He will be overseeing the company's global cybersecurity strategy and operations. With a career spanning over two decades, Avnaim will focus on developing a comprehensive, risk-based cybersecurity program to safeguard Allied Universal's employees, systems, data, and technology platforms from evolving cyber threats.
Comprehensive Cybersecurity Program
In his new role, Avnaim will report to Loretta Cecil, the global general counsel. He will lead and manage the company's cybersecurity resources, working collaboratively with technology, legal, operations, and business teams across more than 100 countries. This coordinated approach aims to enhance the protection of the company's infrastructure and data.

Avnaim is recognized for his work in developing and implementing cybersecurity, technology risk, and regulatory compliance programs for large, complex global organizations. His experience includes advising boards and executive leadership, enhancing enterprise security capabilities, and leading teams focused on safeguarding critical infrastructure and operations.

Background and Prior Experience
Before joining Allied Universal, Avnaim was CISO at Hyundai AutoEver America and Entrust Corp., where he managed global information security programs spanning over 150 countries. His previous roles include senior technology risk and information security positions at the Capital Group Companies.
Avnaim holds a Master of Engineering in management of technology, focusing on information security and risk management, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in computer engineering and mathematics from Vanderbilt University. He is credited as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and a Certified Information Systems Auditor, and is affiliated with InfraGard, ISACA, and ISC2.
