What better way to end a week than by celebrating one of company's longest serving employees being recognised for his exceptional professionalism, dedication and loyalty.
Adam Buffery joined Dardan in August 2008 at the age of 18, he started out his career as a Security Officer at a local contract in Ipswich.
After 18 months, Adam expressed an interest in joining the Mobile Services division, so when a position became available for a Mobile Response Officer, Adam jumped at the chance.
Adam's progress
It was upon joining the Mobile team that Adam really came out of his shell and showed a keen interest in this part of the business, he was well liked by colleagues and customers alike, and it was this that led to him becoming a Night Supervisor after 2 years in the Mobile Officer role.
Adam excelled in this role, showing exceptional leadership skills and a desire to remain very much at the frontline with the teams. In 2015, Adam progressed yet again into a Contract Support Manager role covering the Ipswich and Chelmsford area.
It was here that he was exposed to client relationship management, delegation of tasks and time management, all of which he took to very naturally which resulted in him moving into a Contract Manager role in December 2020. Adam has remained in the Contract Manager role until very recently when he was appointed into the role of Operations Manager – Mobile Services. As of 1st April 2022.
Adam's responsibilities
Adam is responsible for the day to day running of the entire mobile services division
Adam is responsible for the day to day running of the entire mobile services division from an operational perspective. He is the single point of contact for a number of prestigious clients and has become a point of escalation within the business for any operational matters within mobile.
When asked what has kept him at Dardan for so long, Adam says “When I started, I was only 18, I have grown and developed over these 14 years. Dardan have invested time and money into my progression both personally and professionally, I will always be grateful for the opportunities they have given to me”
