Compro Introduces Ultra Wide Angle Mini Dome NC2200

Compro Technology, a professional network video surveillance solution provider in Taiwan, has announced its first mini-dome network camera, NC2200, featuring an ultra-wide viewing angle of 105°. Along with the wide viewing angle, concerns about distortion would be simply erased as it is less than 8° which is about a third of comparable solutions. This functional mini dome is ideal for home, office and small shops.

Not only does Compro NC2200 provide the impressive ultra-wide view, the minimal distortion of its image quality also offers great user experience from the extensive camera coverage — one NC2200 almost covers two regular cameras. In addition, the camera packs a 2-megapixel image sensor and delivers phenomenal picture quality. A number of useful features are also on-board, including H.264 compression, dual video streaming, built-in microSD/SDHC storage, Power-over-Ethernet support, motion and audio detection, and SMS and E-mail alert notification.

With its handy Ø100 dimension and elegant design, the mini-dome can be installed and become a part of the ceiling without more attention, which is well-suited for concealed locations. Also, IP66-rated weatherproof and IK10-rated vandal-resistant feature makes NC2200 perfect for indoor and outdoor installation.

Compro NC2200 is a robust camera not only on hardware but also on software. The camera software includes the 16-channel WebVuer, which allows connection and management of 16 cameras in the same screen, plus the free-bundled 32-channel video management software, ComproView®. ComproView® offers multiple intelligent detection tools, event trigger alarm, and different recording settings to the local disk.
