HID Global®, a worldwide leader in secure identity solutions, recently announced that HID Global has been selected as China’s “Top 10 Access Control Brands for 2012” for the ninth consecutive year by A&S China, a leading security publication in the region. The company also received the award for “Outstanding Access Control Brand” in the 2012 China Intelligent Building Brand competition held by Qianjia Brand Laboratory. The awards reflect the company’s outstanding innovations and contributions to the advancement of the security industry.
“HID Global is honored to be recognized by two of the most distinctive security media publications in China, and the awards reinforce HID Global’s dedication to continually support customers with a growing ecosystem of highly adaptable, interoperable and secure access control solutions,” said Eric Chiu, director of sales, Greater China with HID Global. “With this year’s launch our new generation EDGE EVO® and VertX EVO™ networked access control solutions and our expansion of our iCLASS SE® platform that includes the new iCLASS Seos® credentials for mobile access, these accolades further validate our ongoing Genuine HID® commitment to quality and innovation.
The awards also recognize HID Global’s continual efforts to evaluate customer needs by geographical region to drive both innovation and seek partnerships that move the industry forward. Over the past year, HID Global has organized more than twelve seminars in second and third-tier cities throughout China, including Hangzhou, Xiamen, Urumqi and Hefei, with the goal of training local technicians and fostering partnerships with integrators, installers and end users.
The A&S China Top 10 awards are widely recognized as the most influential by China's security industry. Winners are selected from votes cast via paper and internet ballots by distributors, system integrators, installers, end users and designers. Winners of the China Intelligent Building Brand Award are chosen through a critical assessment that includes online votes, end user feedback and professional evaluation.
