ASSA ABLOY Access Control and HID Global have presented the latest revolutionary thinking in access control and security at a dedicated event, held at the prestigious Wallace Collection in Central London.

The event, attended by high profile representatives including National History Museum and BT, offered key insights into the latest trends within the security industry, alongside focused presentations on securing the museum sector and financial services markets across the UK and Europe.

Included in the programme were keynote addresses from leading security experts and end users, including Ian Frazer, Vice President, EMEA Regional Head Security Technology at Credit Suisses Securities (Europe) Ltd and Mark Abbott, Technical Program Manager at Microsoft.

Head of Security at the Wallace Collection, John Power illustrated the issues surrounding security within the museum sector and specifically, sourcing products and services to protect one of Europe's finest collections of original works of art, paintings, furniture, arms, armour and porcelain.

As leading specialists in wireless locking solutions and security, Chris Bone Vice President ASSA ABLOY Access Control EMEA and Yves Ackerman, Manager Strategic Growth Initiative HID Global presented their industry views on future trends in access control and security.

Guests were also exclusively treated to a private tour of the impressive works on display at the Wallace Collection, including best known paintings as the Laughing Cavalier from Dutch Baroque artist Frans Hals, and the Swing by Jean-Honoré Fragonard.
