3VR Announces Bruce Nisbet As Director Of Sales For The Western U.S. Region

Nisbet will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales process in western North America

3VR, the video intelligence company, recently announced that Bruce Nisbet has been named the new Director of Sales for the Western U.S. Region.

Nisbet will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales process in western North America, including channel management, new customer acquisition, end user development, and management of the field sales teams. He will be serving the Western Region sales territory including California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, Hawaii, and Alaska in the United States and British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan in Canada. He will be working directly with 3VR manufacturer’s representatives Hanson Technology Solutions and SVT Solutions.

"Bruce brings a wide range of experiences to 3VR," Jim Underwood, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at 3VR. "We were searching for a person who brings a depth of industry knowledge while possessing the demonstrated skills to help 3VR with our transition into new blended sales roles, which requires us to manage integrators, manufacturer representatives, and distribution partners."

Prior to 3VR, Nisbet was Director of Strategic Account Sales for the Americas at Pelco, by Schneider Electric. He was a manufacturer’s representative for five years, representing a broad range of security and audio/visual manufacturers, before moving onto direct sales roles at Integral Technologies, where he served as their Western Region Sales Director for many years.

Nisbet joins 3VR during a period of rapid growth and sales expansion. After announcing the signing of three manufacturer’s representative firms and a distribution partner in April 2014, 3VR has added four additional manufacturer’s representative firms and a distribution partner to its roster:

• Hanson Technology Solutions serves as manufacturer’s representative to dealers throughout the Western United States including California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and Arizona
• SVT Solutions represents 3VR in the Western Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba
• Pro Sales Agents represents 3VR in the Southern United States regions including Texas and Louisiana
• Tech Reps serves as manufacturer’s representative in Central United States including Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and southern Illinois
• SYNNEX Corporation serves as 3VR’s second distribution partner
