Aetina Corporation has unveiled its latest MXM AI Accelerator Module series, designed to enhance edge computing capabilities with NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell Embedded GPUs. This new addition to the CoreEdge MXM AI Module family boasts up to three times the AI performance of previous models, setting a new industry standard for AI computing at the edge.

The modules, adhering to the MXM 3.1 industrial standard, are engineered to meet the demands of high-precision and high-density workloads in crucial applications, including autonomous mobile robots, unmanned vehicles, and smart manufacturing equipment.

NVIDIA Blackwell Architecture Enhancements

As the trend of moving AI applications from data centers to edge environments continues, Aetina's embedded MXM AI modules deliver superior performance with compact, industrial-grade designs. Utilizing NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell GPUs, these modules incorporate advancements in AI, ray tracing, and neural graphics technologies.

The flagship model, the MX5000B-XA, features an impressive 40.62 TFLOPS FP32 performance driven by its 10,496 CUDA cores, 80 RT cores, and 320 Tensor cores. Performance validation showcases a doubling of LLM inference speed on the Gemma-2-9b model and an 80% improvement in AI inference on Geekbench AI benchmarks.

The NVIDIA Blackwell MXM series supports FP4 precision, DLSS 4 multi-frame generation technology, and GDDR7 memory, providing up to 896 GB/s bandwidth. These features significantly enhance AI computing capabilities by up to threefold, paving the way for deploying advanced AI models, such as large language models and vision transformers, in constrained edge environments. The result is reduced latency and increased throughput for demanding applications like physical AI.

Designed for industrial reliability, Aetina's CoreEdge embedded MXM AI modules occupy only a fraction of the space required by traditional graphics cards while achieving equivalent workstation-class performance. Unlike commercial-grade products, these modules feature a design exceeding industrial standards with support for temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C, and they include protective conformal coating for dust and moisture resistance.

The modules are equipped with adjustable TGP power settings and high-vibration-resistant mounting holes on MXM Type B modules, facilitating secure installations in high-vibration locations. Aetina also offers a five-year product lifecycle support, ensuring stability in supply.

The company's robust engineering practices, including the use of wide-temperature components and extensive testing, guarantee system integrators can confidently deploy these modules in applications like autonomous robots, smart manufacturing, and medical equipment. Evaluation kits with PCIe Gen4 x16 interfaces and HDMI outputs further simplify the integration process.
