The ComNet™ FDX72SHR series Self-Healing Ring Transceiver unit is a fully-digital modem designed for implementing RS 232, RS 422 or RS 485 2 or 4-wire data communications networks of the highest possible reliability. A network of FDX72SHR units can support one full-duplex or two half-duplex data channels. These transceivers also feature data translation to convert between data protocols. Data re-clocking and regeneration permit an almost unlimited number of transceiver/controller units to be used within the network.

The ComNet™ FDX55 series consists of fully-digital transceiver units designed for implementing simplex or full-duplex RS232 Drop-and-Repeat poll-and-respond traffic signalisation/communications data networks utilising one or two optical fibers. These environmentally hardened units are ideal for use in unconditioned out-of plant or roadside installations and the master-configured transceiver unit may be located anywhere within the network, making this equipment ideal for applications involving on-street master controllers with upstream and downstream communication requirements.

The ComNet™ CNGE1IPS is an industrial power over Ethernet (PoE+) midspan injection module that injects 56 VDC at 0.625 amperes to any network cable. Operating power and 10/100/1000T(X) Ethernet data are easily combined on one cable, eliminating the need to install additional power outlets and electrical cabling. The CNGE1IPS is fully compliant with the requirements of IEEE 802.3at for Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), and features auto detection of powered devices (PDs). Transmission distances of up to 330 feet (100 meters) are supported, and this injector supplies operating power for all PDs drawing a maximum of 30 watts.

The ComNet™ FDX4D(M)(S)1 Series data transceiver series provide transmission of four bi-directional data channels over one optical fiber and are ideal for use in unconditioned roadside or out-of-plant installations. The data channels can be set independently for RS232, RS422 and 2 or 4-wire RS485 with tri-state support. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required. Bi-color (Red/Green) LED indicators are provided for rapidly ascertaining equipment operating status.

The ComNet™ PS12DC-HT power transformer supplies 12V DC power to ComNet™ stand-alone units. The PS12DC-HT operates on 100-240 VAC. The PS12DCHT is provided for installations with high ambient temperatures.

FDX2HSDM1EA/M is a dual high speed RS485 data transceiver that meets RS485 (2W) specifications. The ComNet™ FDX2HSD(M,S)(1,2)(EA,EB)/M data transceivers is tested and certified by an independent laboratory for full compliance with the environmental requirements. The robust design of FDX2HSDM1EA/M assures extremely high reliability in unconditioned out-of-plant/roadside environments. The ComNet™ FDX2HSD(M,S)(1,2)(EA,EB)/M data transceivers are NTCIP compatible and the built-in fiber link tester allows for the testing of the fiber. The remote fault indication of FDX2HSDM1EA/M allows the user to determine when a fiber break or loss of prime operating power has occurred, or a transceiver in the field has failed.

ComNet FVT/FVR280S1is a 28 channel digital video 10-bit digital/short-haul video transmitter and receiver. It is compatible with all NTSC, PAL, or SECAM CCTV camera systems. Additionally, Tested and certified by an independent laboratory for full compliance with the environmental requirements (ambient operating temperature, mechanical shock, vibration, humidity with condensation, high-line/low-line voltage conditions and transient voltage protection) of NEMA TS-1/TS-2 and the Caltrans Specification for Traffic Signal Control Equipment.

The design approach employed by ComNet™ for the modular C1PS power supply, provides for the elimination of a single-point failure in the event of a major fault within any module located within the chassis rack. This is accomplished through the use of automatic electronic current limiting within each rack-mountable module, rather than providing the current limiting within the power supply unit which supports the power requirements for equipment located within the rack. The C1PS rack power supply design employed by ComNet eliminates this possibility, as only the faulty module shuts down, and the operation of the other modules within the rack continue unimpaired.

ComNet FVT/FVR320S1 video transmitter and receiver exceeds all requirements for EIA RS-250C short-haul transmission. The voltage transient protection on all power and signal input/outpt lines provides unconditional protection from power surges and other voltage transient events. In addition, the bi-color (Red/Green) LED status indicators provide rapid indication of critical operating parameters.

ComNet FVT1D1M1 is a digitally encoded video transmitter with bi-directional data and simplex contact closure. The voltage transient protection on all power and signal input/output lines provides unconditional protection from power surges and other voltage transient events. It has automatic resettable fuses on all power lines.

ComNet FVT15M2 video and data transreciver supports RS232 or RS422 data interfaces. The bi-color (Red/Green) LED status indicators provide rapid indication of critical operating parameters. The voltage transient protection on all power and signal input/output lines provides unconditional protection from power surges and other voltage transient events.

The ComNet™ FDX60(M)(S)(-M) data transceivers provide point-to-point transmission of simplex or duplex EIA RS232/RS422/RS485 (2W/4W) data signals over one or two optical fibers. The transceivers are transparent to data encoding allowing for broad-range compatibility. Models within this series are available for use with multimode or single mode optical fiber.

The ComNet™ FVT/FVR801 video transmitter and video receiver series utilize 10-bit digital encoding and decoding for high-quality video transmission that exceeds the requirements of EIA RS-250C for short-haul video transmission. These environmentally hardened units provide transmission of eight independent video channels over one optical fiber and are ideal for use in unconditioned roadside or out-ofplant installations.

ComNet FVR110M1is compatible with all NTSC or PAL camera systems. The bi-colour (red/green) LED status indicators provide rapid indication of critical operating parameters. The ComNet™ PS-9VDC power transformer supplies 9V DC power to ComNet stand-alone units. The PS-9VDC operates on 100-240 VAC. The PS-9VDC is supplied at no charge with many ComNet products

ComNet FVT110M1/BO is a video transmitter and data transmitter supports Bosch Bilinx and Bosch Bi-phase telemetry systems. It is certified and tested by an independent laboratory for full compliance with the environmental requirements (ambient operating temperature, mechanical shock, vibration, humidity with condensation, high-line/low-line voltage conditions and transient voltage protection) of NeMa ts-1/ts-2 and the Caltrans specification for traffic signal control equipment.
