Since fire extinguishing techniques were first used in Europe, they have been inspected by VdS – and the institute gladly shares its experiences gathered over more than 100 years with the safety responsible persons from all business sectors. On April 27th, the 4th international VdS conference on fire protection systems will take place in Warsaw. International experts from the insurance sector, from industry and fire protection organizations will present an overview on current technologies and developments as well as numerous solutions gained from practical experience. In addition, there will be an exhibition over two days at the conference site. Also, the favoured get-together, well-known as an industry connection place, will be held at the evening of April 26th.

Opportunities For Professional Exchange

“As it is well established for VdS conferences, experts from many different business fields will present benchmarks on extinguishing technologies like gas or water mist, on optimal detection and the currently `burning´ issue of lithium-ion-batteries”, states Tomasz Afeltowicz-Schultz, Head of VdS in Poland and Director of the event. “And the conference exhibition with renowned specialist companies offers great opportunities for the professional exchange of the top fire protection experts.”

Conference languages are Polish and English with simultaneous translation. The participants of the VdS conference also have the possibility to visit the conference of the European Fire Sprinkler Network (EFSN) on April 26th, at the same place, at a reduced price.
