Notably, the software introduces a redesigned credential model with a universal "Card or Fob" type that is compatible with most reader and card technologies, alleviating the need for specific credential matching. Existing credentials are migrated automatically during upgrades for a seamless transition.
GARDiS 3.3 also integrates biometric credentials and IP lock whitelisting, making credential management more streamlined. This unified approach reduces training demands, minimizes configuration errors, and facilitates faster execution of routine administrative tasks.

New permissions for the event dashboard manage access to live and archived events, while organization-based filtering ensures users access only relevant information.

To boost performance on large-scale systems, GARDiS 3.3 offers faster bulk database updates and optimized message-queue handling. Exports now include organization and department data, and the interface is available in simplified Chinese. Compatibility updates cover the latest STid V3 mobile credential API, support for 32-bit Wiegand readers, and configuration for OSDP readers in dual-functionality mode. Additionally, DigiTouch readers are now free to license, increasing ease of use for clients.

Through integration with Ajax Intruder Cloud, hubs, devices and groups can be discovered and viewed within GARDiS, allowing authorized users to see status changes as they happen and to arm, disarm or manage bypass settings without moving between separate systems. Intruder panels, zones and groups can also be used within Cause & Effect rules, helping routine responses happen consistently and reducing the need for manual intervention.

Event management is more flexible, with controller-level event disabling and quicker select-all or unselect-all controls for alarms and sounds. Messaging and email validation are clearer, Active Directory monitoring handles organizational changes more reliably, and user identification and access-level handling have been refined.
