Thermal Imaging
Thermal cameras and conventional cameras are sensitive to different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum. Conventional cameras see light, whilst thermal cameras see heat. As a result, thermal cameras can detect objects in the dark, smoke, fog or dust. A further advantage is that thermal cameras do not raise false alarms that come down to shadows or glare.
Embedded Video Analytics
Thanks to the TC620-PID onboard video analytics, intrusion detection and man-overboard detection are made easier. The camera’s powerful algorithm can detect a human body over long distances. A useful camera to have aboard any ship or guarding any large area.
Forensic Search
For advanced detection and forensic search options, the camera can be connected to Siqura’s VCA configuration server. This allows users to store and retrieve relevant objects quickly and fine-tune the system’s PID configuration. Gathered information and configurations can then be uploaded to the camera.
