SecurityBridge, known for its cybersecurity solutions for SAP systems, has announced the appointment of Jesper Zerlang as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2026. Zerlang previously served as Chairman of the Board and is stepping into his new role as the company aims to expand internationally, with support from funds advised by BU Bregal Unternehmerkapital (BU).
SecurityBridge specializes in safeguarding SAP environments for large enterprises by mitigating cyber risks across critical SAP landscapes. Its solutions are trusted globally to protect essential systems involved in operations, financial processes, supply chains, and digital transformation efforts.
Leadership Transition and Strategic Focus
In his previous role as Chairman, Zerlang gained insights into the company’s operations and is poised to leverage his understanding in his new position. “SecurityBridge is uniquely positioned at the intersection of cybersecurity and SAP – a domain I know deeply and care about profoundly,” Zerlang stated. He emphasized the company's strength in technology and customer outcomes, expressing excitement about accelerating international impact with BU’s backing.

Stepping down from day-to-day operations, founders Christoph Nagy and Ivan Mans will focus on strategic roles emphasizing product innovation and customer-driven initiatives. Despite their shift from operational duties, their influence on the company's direction, particularly in SAP engineering and product vision, remains significant.
