COP Security, a professional trade only CCTV security products distributor, has introduced the latest Dahua ANPR camera to their extensive range. The camera is a complete number plate recognition system, meaning it uses built in algorithms to detect and capture vehicle number plates and store the details in a database.
Number Plate Recognition
The camera can capture and store number plate snapshot images on an SD card without the need for an NVR. It incorporates high-quality 2 megapixel images, varifocal lens, headlight anti dazzle, and long range IR LEDs for number plate recognition up to 40 meters away. The camera also offers a whitelist/blacklist feature that can trigger set events based on stored number plates.
Lane Monitoring
It is suitable for use in a variety of areas including entrances to car parks, barrier controlled areas, or lane monitoring. The camera can capture number plates at speeds of up to 25mph.
