Nice has introduced MCX, an advanced platform for commercial door operators, specifically designed to meet the demanding needs of warehouses, loading docks, and industrial facilities. This innovative platform is set to make its public debut at the IDAExpo+ 2026, where Nice will be displaying it at booth #1307.
The MCX lineup features three distinct models: the MCX-J jackshaft operator, the MCX-H jackshaft hoist, and the MCX-GH heavy-duty jackshaft hoist. These models will be made available through the network of Nice authorized distributors.

The MCX platform simplifies the previous array of voltage- and handing-specific models by offering a unified platform that handles 120V to 240V single- or three-phase input with automatic voltage detection. This innovation reduces manual configuration and installation errors. For high-voltage needs, an optional transformer kit supports 460/575V applications, removing the necessity for specialized high-voltage models. Additionally, field-reversible handing minimizes the variety of models that need to be stocked and installed.

At the core of each operator is a microprocessor-based control system that includes integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities, facilitating over-the-air firmware updates and end-user interaction through the Nice G.O. app. The programming and setup processes are executed at ground level via a high-resolution MCX Control Station, significantly cutting down on installation time and eliminating the requirement for ladder-based adjustments during initial setup and maintenance. Onboard fault logging and diagnostics come as standard features.
The platform also includes a modular accessory system with options such as electromechanical brakes, which can be customized as needed rather than stocked separately. This results in greater flexibility and efficiency for distributors and installers alike.
