  • Foresite partners with Bindplane to replace Google SecOps’ default Chronicle Forwarder for scalable telemetry ingestion.
  • Bindplane’s OpenTelemetry pipeline supports centralized telemetry collection, in-flight transformation, enrichment, and compliance masking.
  • Foresite’s Google SecOps methodology can cut deployment timelines by up to 90%.

Foresite Cybersecurity has partnered with Bindplane to update data ingestion in Google Security Operations (SecOps) environments. The integration uses Bindplane in place of the default Chronicle Forwarder, with the companies saying it will help customers collect, process and route telemetry across hybrid and multicloud systems.

Bindplane is built on OpenTelemetry and provides a control plane for centrally managing telemetry collectors. Foresite said the platform also supports in-flight data transformation, enrichment and masking, which can help produce data for Google SecOps, Security-led AI and Mandiant threat intelligence.

Google SecOps data ingestion and management

Foresite was selected as one of the first strategic delivery partners globally to help shape the Bindplane integration for Google SecOps customers. The company said its deployment and optimization methodology can reduce implementation timelines by up to 90%.

Foresite said the partnership builds on its security engineering and incident response services

"Bindplane is proud to collaborate with forward-thinking partners like Foresite Cybersecurity, who push to offer greater transparency and security in the managed services space through OpenTelemetry-powered offerings for their customers as threat landscapes evolve at an unparalleled pace," explained Mike Kelly, CEO of Bindplane.

"At Bindplane, we help some of the largest companies in the world take ownership of and gain control over their telemetry data. Through our new role replacing the Google SecOps default Chronicle Forwarder and this strengthened alliance, we ensure all Foresite customers have the data visibility and agency required to maintain secure, efficient SecOps."

Managed security services and customer outcomes

Foresite said the partnership builds on its security engineering and incident response services. The company will use the data ingestion layer to support its managed security work for organizations operating in Google Cloud environments.

"Effective security posture is built on the foundation of data clarity and operational execution," said Jeremy Hehl, Chief Evangelist at Foresite. "This alliance with Bindplane is an investment in that principle. By standardising on a robust data ingestion layer, we ensure our clients receive unparalleled quality and trust in their telemetry, allowing us to focus on threat detection and response that delivers measurable progress and strengthens their security posture."
