Delkia, a major UK-based specialist systems integrator for safety-related and mission-critical systems, will showcase its advanced engineering capabilities at DSEI 2025, the world’s premier defense and security exhibition, taking place at ExCeL London from 9–12 September.
The Delkia team will showcase the company’s cutting-edge capabilities in systems integration, digital engineering and technical consultancy across the highly regulated aerospace and maritime sectors.
On display will be their first Dragonfly aircraft, Teneral – an experimental, uncrewed emergency response aircraft, which has successfully completed its first phase of flight testing.
Technical and post-design services
The contract will deliver technical and post-design services to support the Royal Navy Surface Fleet
This year’s presence at DSEI is particularly significant, following Delkia’s leadership of the Encompass group, a consortium of nine SMEs, in securing a major contract with the UK Ministry of Defense.
Part of the Marine Systems Support Transformation (MaST) program, the contract will deliver technical and post-design services to support the Royal Navy Surface Fleet.
The Encompass group will provide innovative, digitally enabled solutions, including design revisions, reverse engineering, and through-life support services such as obsolescence and defect management.
Strategic growth in defense
Delkia’s strategic growth in defense is further underscored by a scheduled VIP visit from Bethania Ciocca, Head of Power, Propulsion and Auxiliaries at DE&S, on Tuesday 9 September. Her visit with the team at DSEI reflects the MoD’s interest in Delkia’s contributions to the MaST program and its broader role in defense transformation.
Kurt Canfield, CEO of Delkia, said:
"Delkia is proud to lead the Encompass group in this transformative contract. It’s a testament to the engineering excellence of our team and partners, and it reinforces our commitment to supporting the UK’s defense capabilities.”
“We look forward to engaging with partners, suppliers and customers at DSEI – highlighting our technical capabilities and strengthening our relationships with key stakeholders in UK defense. DSEI offers a vital platform to demonstrate how SMEs are driving innovation and resilience in defense systems.”
Future collaboration opportunities
Delkia invites defense professionals, procurement leads and industry partners to visit the team at Stand N5-205 to discuss their latest projects and future collaboration opportunities.
Delkia will be exhibiting alongside its sister company SyntheSys Defense Systems, which specializes in tactical data links, secure communications and critical network solutions.
On the DSEI stand will be some of the most senior executives, including:
- Kurt Canfield, CEO – a Chartered Engineer and Certified Functional Safety Professional, with over 20 years’ experience in functional safety, qualification and certification in the defense sector.
- Alan Watson, Business Development Director – who brings extensive experience in defense, having worked for BAE Systems for 46 years. Alan spent 17 years working on Typhoon Flight Controls System and was previously Head of Active Vehicle Control for the Dreadnought program.
