Keith Bloodworth, CEO of CNL Software, discussed the trends that are driving the uptake of PSIM technology 

CNL Software, a world leader in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, led several key sessions on subjects including the future of PSIM, the role of PSIM within Safe City frameworks and innovation within physical security.

Learning lessons from the London Olympics, regional activities such as presidential debates and celebratory events through to major natural disasters and security breaches at corporate, Government and airport locations, enlightened organizations and agencies are now leveraging Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software to prepare for and react to specific challenges and events.

Keith Bloodworth, CEO of CNL Software chaired a session at IFSEC International to discuss the trends that are driving the uptake of PSIM technology and which are pushing the boundaries of innovation within the security industry in 2013 and beyond.

As part of IFSEC International 40th Anniversary, Keith was selected as one of the most influential people within the global security industry. He spoke in a blue-sky session where he discussed the future of the security industry. The session entitled "Looking Back, Looking Forward" was designed to allow some of the key security, fire and business professionals to offer their perspectives on the security, fire and IT sectors. They reviewed key points from the past and looked ahead to the next decade, in turn focusing on likely trends in those markets based around economic predictions and their own instincts.

James Condron, VP of Sales at CNL Software also hosted a session on PSIM deployments within Safer Cities. During this session, James reviewed the technology, which enables cities such as Washington DC, Atlanta GA and Manchester to deter crime through improved situational awareness. Through these case studies, he shared some of the key considerations involved when implementing the citywide safety and surveillance program, taking tips from one of the leading Safe City initiatives, Atlanta, GA in the United States. James also joined other speakers in a panel session offering opportunities for the audience to interact with industry thought leaders.
