ACTentry V-IP audio video over IP door entry system
ACTentry V-IP is very popular in small to medium sized commercial premises as a cost effective solution
Access Control Technology (ACT) Ltd. have made a number of enhancements to the popular ACTentry V-IP audio video over IP door entry system. The ACTentry V-IP is a TCP / IP based video doorphone system that operates in conjunction with custom developed PC software.

New features include Windows XP and Vista compatibility and the ability to manage up to 8 entrance points from the V-IP software. The ACTentry V-IP can also now operate from any valid static or dynamically assigned network IP address.

The ACTentry V-IP has proven to be very popular in small to medium sized commercial premises as a cost effective solution to managing visitor access to and from the building. It eliminates the need for a full time receptionist or the installation of multiple video phones. The integration of an ACT proximity reader into the door entry panel allows access for authorized card holder.

Installation Companies have reacted positively to the ACTentry V-IP in particular to the combined door entry panel, which is housed in a stainless steel panel and combines the colour camera, speaker and call button. This along with the elimination of videophones greatly reduces installation and set-up time and costs.

Access Control Technology was formed in 1988 to design and manufacture high quality access control products for the security industry. ACT is now a leading provider of innovative and cost effective solutions across the market spectrum.
