SIA is the leading trade group for businesses in the electronic and physical security market
Security Industry Association is organising a trade delegation to Russia to coincide with SST Forum in Moscow
Electronic security companies looking to expand into the huge Russian market will have a great opportunity to do so in February.

The Security Industry Association is organising a trade delegation to Russia to coincide with the Feb. 2-5 Security and Safety Technologies (SST) Forum in Moscow. SST Moscow is run by Reed Exhibitions - the same company responsible for the ISC shows - and is the biggest security event in Russia, boasting more than 15,000 visitors.

The trade delegation will provide a turn-key programme for participants, with meetings, tours, networking opportunities, transportation and lodging all scheduled in advance.

"Russia is a country that has massive potential for the security industry, but it can be difficult for companies to establish themselves there without some assistance," SIA's Director of International Relations Dean Russo said. "With this trade delegation, though, SIA is removing many of the most difficult obstacles and is making it possible for any business to close sales in that nation."

SIA's international programmes in 2010 will also include a trade mission to Dubai and pavilions at ISC Brazil in Sao Paulo and Expo Seguridad Mexico in Mexico City.
