Aimetis Corporation Becomes Gold Application Development Partner With Axis Communications

Aimetis is able to work with Axis on a global basis to provide best-in-class solutions to their mutual customers

Aimetis Corp.,a global leader in intelligent IP video management software announced that it has attained Axis Communications  highest partner membership echelon, as Gold Application Development Partner (ADP). "We are excited to achieve Axis Gold-level ADP status," said Marc Holtenhoff, CEO, Aimetis Corp. "It gives us an edge with customers in areas such as early pre-release information and priority support from Axis. This is important, since our distributors and customers have expressed a strong interest in network video solutions from Axis."

Axis' ADP programme assists software developers in fully integrating Axis network video products in end- user solutions, by providing application components such as VAPIX ,technical documentation, SDKs, and dedicated development support. Through this partnership, Aimetis is able to work with Axis on a global basis to provide best-in-class solutions to their mutual customers.

For example, the Serbian City of Novi Sad has implemented Aimetis Symphony video management and video analytics software as well as 1,000 Axis HDTV network cameras to successfully decrease criminal activity and enhance traffic logistics.

Axis network cameras were installed throughout public places in the city for use 24 hours per day. Axis network cameras provide HDTV-standard resolutions, 16:9 aspect ratio and day/night functionality.
