Security camera manufacturer, Lumenera, sells its 125,000th camera

Lumenera Corporation, a leading manufacturer and developer of high performance digital cameras and custom imaging solutions for scientific, industrial and surveillance markets, is proud to announce that 125,000 digital cameras have been sold since its inception in 2002.

Eight years after opening its doors, Lumenera marks the 125,000th camera that was manufactured from its corporate headquarters in Ottawa, Canada. To date, over 1,250 camera variants have been designed including USB, Ethernet, GigE, custom and OEM solutions. Tailored to meet customers' specific needs, the cameras sold have been deployed worldwide in a vast range of applications.

New products are continuing to be launch on a regular basis, including a revamped network camera line that features H.264 and a scientific digital camera aimed at the ophthalmic market.
