Camden has introduced a line of 4-1/2” (114mm) wide Column switches, available in a ‘top load’ model (installed by assembling the switch on the wall vertically) or a ‘Side Load’ model (assembled by mounting the switch horizontally on the wall with six screws).

The narrow size makes these switches less obtrusive and ideal for Restroom (privacy) control, particularly when multiple switches are mounted together. CM-74 and CM-84 Series 4-1/2” wide Column switches are ADA, OBC, NBC, CSA, and CSBC compliant.

Wide activation plate

They have a 3” (75mm) wide activation plate, are available in clear aluminum, black, bronze, and blue architectural finishes, and have a wide range of faceplate graphic options. There are also options for a built-in hands-free sensor, Lazerpoint battery power, and Kinetic no-battery wireless transmitter.

Column push plate switches offer greater convenience and a lower installation cost by providing a single activation device instead of two high/low switches, as required by a growing number of building codes.
