ASSA ABLOY has successfully acquired Classic Brass Inc, a US-based manufacturer known for its high-end cabinet and door hardware.
This acquisition aligns with ASSA ABLOY's strategy to bolster its position in established markets by integrating products that complement its core business operations. Founded in 1996, Classic Brass employs approximately 80 staff members, with its main offices and production facilities located in Jamestown, New York.
Following the acquisition, Classic Brass will be integrated into the Residential Business Segment of the Americas Division. In 2025, Classic Brass reported sales of around MUSD 17 (about MSEK 155) and maintained a strong EBIT margin. Notably, the acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings per share (EPS).
