Innovations In Access Control

Held at Excel, London, on 12th and 13th April 2016, ASSA ABLOY Access Control UK and Spica, a leading manufacturer of innovative access control solutions, will be exhibiting their latest innovations in access control at the show on stand E81.

The revolutionary Aperio® wireless locking solution will be on display, which is designed to upgrade mechanically locked doors and wirelessly connect them online or offline to new or existing access control systems, with minimal modification to doors and premises.

In addition, the Aperio® KS100 Server Cabinet Lock will also be showcased, revealing how easy it is to monitor server cabinets and data rack access.

Gareth Ellams, Managing Director at ASSA ABLOY Access Control, said: “We are looking forward to showcasing our successful integration with Spica at this year’s Data Centre World exhibition.

“The highlight of this year’s stand is our innovative KS100 Server Cabinet Lock. KS100 secures data against costly accidental downtime, unauthorized access and physical security breaches. It also allows access control to be affordably added to almost any opening in data centers, even if the facility is shared. We are excited to demonstrate how KS100 can significantly upgrade data center security and provide businesses and their customers with the highest levels of assurance.”

Rob Howland, Export Sales Manager at Spica, said: “With the data center market growing fast, many companies are sharing a data center location, often even the same rack; to ensure compliance and avoid costly breaches, managing physical access to servers is critical. Visitors to stand E81 will be able to see how we can provide a simple and effective option for data centers to upgrade access control.”
