AMG Systems has introduced the AMG840 Series Network Server Appliance, a 1U rack mount platform specifically designed for advanced network monitoring and security-focused applications in critical infrastructure environments.
This high-performance system is engineered in the UK and USA and manufactured in the UK. It supports AMG’s Net-Hawk network monitoring and management platform. Additionally, the appliance is available in entry-level configurations, allowing system integrators and end users to deploy custom operating systems, storage, and applications.
Compliance and Connectivity Features
Tom Exley, AMG Technical Director, explains that the AMG840 Series supports Intel® 12th and 13th generation Core™ processors, including options like i3, i5, i7, i9, and Celeron, with up to 64GB DDR4 memory available.
The appliance offers high-speed connectivity with six 2.5Gb RJ45 ports and four 10Gb SFP+ ports, making it suitable for high bandwidth environments, including transportation networks, utilities, public safety systems, enterprise security, and industrial infrastructure.
