HID Launches Innovative Authentication Solutions At National Strategy For Trusted Identities In Cyberspace

HID demonstrated authentication technology innovations at NSTIC 2011

HID Global, trusted leader in solutions for the delivery of secure identity showcased its strong authentication solutions at the release of the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace, on April 15, 2011. HID demonstrated various authentication scenarios using a Blackberry, a PC token and a Web token on a sample website.

A consumer can use strong authentication technology to access various different Internet banking or other online sites on her/his phone. HID's authentication solution eliminates the hassle of having to remember multiple user names and passwords for all of the different applications an individual might access.

The National Security & Emergency Preparedness Department, U.S. Chamber of Commerce event, was also streamed live via webcast, which included distinguished speakers and an area in which public- and private-sector efforts in online identity were exhibited.
