VIVOTEK CM80 Series infrared illuminators
The VIVOTEK CM80 Series provides 940 nm infrared illumination for security surveillance, using a 24-LED array with adjustable output. Four models offer different beam geometries and coverage distances, allowing installers to match illumination to the required field of view.
- CM80I8-1040: circular beam, 10°–40° horizontal coverage and 140–350 m range.
- CM80I8-2040: elliptical beam, 20°–40° coverage and 170–280 m range.
- CM80I8-4080: elliptical beam, 40°–80° coverage and 80–120 m range.
- CM80I8-90120: rectangular beam, 90°–120° coverage and 60–70 m range.
A light sensor automates IR switching, with six selectable thresholds from 1 to 100 lux. Infrared power adjusts from 20% to 100% through the CaMate remote or RS-485 control, helping installers tailor output to site requirements. External IR on/off input and day/night switching output provide additional control options.
Ideal use cases
With IP68 and IK10 casing ratings and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +50°C, the series suits outdoor security installations requiring robust illumination. Narrow-beam options support longer-distance coverage, while wider patterns accommodate broader monitored areas.
The illuminators accept 24 V AC or DC power and consume a maximum of 90 W. A U-type bracket and CMA-E01 remote controller are included.
