Brand V takes existing apartment blocks in desirable Hong Kong locations and completely re-models them into luxurious, state-of-the-art contemporary living spaces equipped with top-of-the range home comforts and hi-tech entertainment appliances. The best apartments also boast panoramic city views, and automatic skylights that open at the push of a button.
David Rees, Asia Pacific Regional Manager for SALTO Systems SL, says: "V Serviced Apartments needed an intelligent security system to manage multiple sites and secure all doors quickly and easily. The system they chose not only had to be aesthetically sharp to match their design ideals, but also had to have built-in scalability to ensure it met their future requirements too. SALTO met the brief on all counts."
Installation of some 208 SALTO XS4 comfort and e-cylinder locks, together with wall and lift readers has been carried out by local SALTO HK business partner Barwin Metal, and these now control main entrance, lift and individual apartment access at V locations in Happy Valley, Wanchai and Causeway Bay and Causeway Bay². All properties also feature independent databases running SALTO Hotel Access Management (HAMS) 500 software.
The external entrance doors on the properties are controlled using SALTO Mifare on-line wall readers. Once inside, access to the lifts is controlled via their own off-line readers, with further access to individual apartments being via off-line XS4 comfort or e-cylinder locks.
