With QR codes emerging as the norm for visitor and ticket holder credentials, XPass Q2 integrates native QR and barcode authentication with RFID card and BLE/NFC mobile credentials.
This enables operators to seamlessly manage employees, guests, members, and ticket holders with a single reader, thereby streamlining entry processes and removing the need for additional devices or dedicated lanes at entry points.
Features and Design
In contrast to typical readers where QR functionality is supplementary, XPass Q2 incorporates a dedicated scanning module. This module is designed for quick and reliable readings under various lighting conditions and from different presentation distances.
LED indicators and adaptive audio feedback ensure a smooth flow at busy entryways. Additionally, its IP65-rated construction makes it suitable for both indoor lobbies and outdoor entry gates.
Compatibility
The reader supports standard barcodes for better compatibility with existing ticketing systemsThe XPass Q2 seamlessly integrates with BioStar X, allowing operators to harmonize visitor tracking, membership access, and ticketing operations. Via BioStar X API, third-party visitor management and ticketing systems can connect to devise comprehensive workflows encompassing pre-registration, credential issuance, and real-time access monitoring and compliance reporting.
Moreover, the device supports standard barcodes, enhancing compatibility with existing ticketing solutions. Suprema's CLUe open cloud integration platform further supports dynamic QR codes, extending credential functionalities beyond static options.
