Evolv Technologies Holdings, Inc., an organization specializing in AI-driven security technology, has announced the appointment of Richard Shapiro to its Board of Directors, effective February 3, 2025.
Alongside this role, Shapiro will take on responsibilities within the Board’s Audit Committee.
Extensive Investment Management Background
With almost thirty years of expertise in investment management, Shapiro brings seasoned insights into his new position. Since 2021, he has operated as the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Ridge Run Partners, LLC, a family office firm. Before that, Shapiro held the position of Portfolio Manager at Millennium Management, a prominent hedge fund, and was a Partner at Wexford Capital LP, which deals in hedge fund and private equity operations.
Academic and Board Engagements
Shapiro holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. His current board involvement includes public companies such as Altus Power (NYSE: AMPS), Orion Energy Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OESX), and Elah Holdings (OTC: ELLH).
