Salient Systems Corporation, a leader in video surveillance solutions, is pleased to announce the newest version of CompleteViewTM VMS v4.3. This version offers customers a wide array of enhancements designed for performance, with faster video and event search and updates, audio support for QuickTrack cameras, a new 64 bit CompleteView MSI Installer and TouchView mobile support for iOS 7 and digital PTZ on live viewing. Included in the release are built-in 3rd party tools such as TeamViewer and WireShark, for easy trouble shooting and remote technical assistance.

"Every facet of security implementation today calls for flexibility, scalability and open systems architecture. Bridging the market gap from older, proprietary system architecture to open architecture offers customers the freedom to choose best-in-class components for a future proof foundation upon which to grow," points out Chris Meiter, Vice President of Sales at Salient. To meet one of these growth requirements, Salient Systems is pleased to announce expanded storage capacity on several models of the PowerProtect NVR line of hybrid servers. 4TB enterprise class, video storage drives are now available on PowerChoice 8TB, PowerPro 20TB, PowerPro-R 16TB, PowerPlus 16TB and PowerUltra 40TB configurations. To further enhance the PowerProtect NVR line, all PowerPro and PowerPro-R units will provide more rugged chassis, dual NIC’s, longer life span components and higher performance configurations.

“Customers will find that our focus on performance and quality elevates our products in the security industry and protects integrators' investments when they do business with our company. Couple our focus on performance with our simple, cost effective analog to IP migration plan and Salient Systems continues to be recognized as the transition leader in the video surveillance market” adds Meiter.
