From new product introductions to rollouts of feature enhancements to partner announcements, the Morse Watchmans’ exhibit at this year’s ISC West is all about a growing product line and improving the user experience. The new and upgraded additions will be featured along with the company’s portfolio of key control and asset management systems, offering organizations of all sizes a full range of choices to access the benefits of managed key control.

“Morse Watchmans has pioneered innovative key management technology from the start and our expertise ensures that users experience reliable, state-of-the-art solutions,” said Fernando Pires, VP Sales and Marketing, Morse Watchmans. “We continue to focus on additions and enhancements that help our customers create an integrated and comprehensive security system.”

SmartKey Reader

New to the lineup is the SmartKey Reader. By simply inserting a SmartKey into the Reader, information such as key names and locations can be quickly added to or deleted from the KeyWatcher’s TrueTouch software. The Reader is also compatible with the KeyBank Touch Auto, allowing the user to enter vehicle information including year, make, model, sub-model, color and fuel type.

KeyWatcher Touch

KeyWatcher Touch feature enhancements include an audio jack to allow audible prompts and alarms. Prompts for the key remove and return process include instructions for door opening and closing and key removal and return. The system will also generate an audible alarm for infractions such as overdue keys, return violations and so on. A new group interlock feature allows any SmartKey to be interlocked with a group of keys, thereby giving users the option to increase the security level of certain keys. Ideal for use in correctional facilities and gaming establishment, the feature will not allow a requested interlock key to be removed from a group if another key from that group is out.

Morse Watchmans’ Focus on Innovation

Also reflecting Morse Watchmans’ focus on innovation is their recently updated Lenel Factory Certification that includes KeyWatcher Touch Key Management System support for v6.6 (2013) and v7.0 (2014) of Lenel’s OnGuard Access Control System. In addition to support for segmentation in the OnGuard system, Morse Watchmans has added an advanced card format builder utility to the module which makes it easier to add custom card formats.
