The Australian Security 2011 Exhibition will take place from August 24 to August 26, 2011
VIVOTEK Inc., for the first time, is participating in Security 2011 Exhibition, Australia's premier industry exhibition, which takes place from August 24 to August 26. The booth number is C29/31.

"We are very excited about attending Security 2011 in Australia," said William Ku, Director of Brand Business at VIVOTEK. "We look forward to meeting potential business partners and exploring potential opportunities for collaboration or partnership."

According to the IMS report - The Asia Market for CCTV and Video Surveillance Equipment (2010 Edition), the IP surveillance market in Oceania is rapidly growing at the estimated compound growth rate of 33.8 from 2009 to 2014.

"The Australian market is extremely important to us and that's why we are bringing our best products to the show, including our first fisheye camera," added William.

The FE8171V, VIVOTEK's first fisheye fix-domed network camera, is the company's latest, most up-and-coming SUPREME product, released in August 2011. Featuring a detailed 3.1MP-resolution sensor with superb image quality, the FE8171V offers a 360° surround view without blind spots as well as an 8X wider field of view than a standard VGA camera.

In addition to the FE8171V, VIVOTEK will be showcasing many other cameras from the SUPREME Series, which is the company's high-end product line. Many of them are extreme weather-proof and carry P-iris lenses. The world's first network camera to support Scalable Video Coding (SVC), next generation extension of H.264 will be present at VIVOTEK's booth as well.

VIVOTEK is working with Altech Computers and holding the VIVOTEK Solution Partner Symposium at Altech's booth (booth number H4). VIVOTEK has invited Aimetis, Genetec, Milestone and Thecus to present the features of their latest software products and discuss integration with VIVOTEK's platforms.
