With Cardag Deutschland GmbH, LEGIC welcomes another partner to its ID Network. Cardag has specialized in the development, production and sale of adaptable chip cards and works with the entire LEGIC transponder range.

Cardag designs, produces and sells high-quality and long-lasting contactless and contact-based chip cards and special designs. The proprietary material compositions fulfill a wide range of customer requirements as well as specific prints and peripheral equipment. Their advanced investment policy allows the development and production of new leading technical products. In 2014, LEGIC granted the card-in-card license to emulate the LEGIC functionality on processor chips.

Secure Identification

The world of today lives on technical innovations, digital media and international standards. Secure identity has become enormously important. This message is top priority for both Cardag and LEGIC. Dr. Otto Eggimann, Vice President Sales, Business Development and Purchasing, explains: “The guidelines of Cardag correspond to our own, as security, flexibility and customer benefits are also our top priority. This partnership will provide advantages for both parties, which will contribute to the success of both companies.” Cardag is installing LEGIC transponder chips in its contactless cards and programming the card-in-card applications in processor chips, thus guaranteeing secure identification in all fields of use.
