Viakoo, a leader in video surveillance network management, and Video Insight, a leader in video management systems (VMS) for surveillance, recently announced a seamless integration between their two solutions. The best-in-breed combination offers the advanced functionality of Video Insight’s VMS, paired with Viakoo’s capability to discover and resolve network issues that impact the security video stream performance and stability. Both companies are at ISC West to demonstrate the benefits of their solution.
“With their wide range of features and benefits, Video Insight is an excellent VMS to integrate with the Viakoo solution,” said Bud Broomhead, CEO, Viakoo. “Their track record of bringing meaningful innovation to this market is perfectly in alignment with our objective of improving the reliability and dependability of all video systems.”
SaaS solution
The partnership between Viakoo and Video Insight addresses the vital need to eliminate downtime in today’s mission-critical video surveillance systems. From both a safety and operational perspective, downtime creates security, safety, and legal issues, in addition to impacting profitability derived from analysis of the video streams. Viakoo’s easy-to-deploy SaaS solution helps to ensure uptime, stability, and optimal performance of the security video network.
“Our focus is on schools and campuses, where safety and security are paramount and there is no tolerance for downtime,” said J. Robert Shaw, CEO of Video Insight. “Integrating the Viakoo solution with our VMS optimizes the reliability of the video systems where it is deployed, assuring that crucial video is not lost or compromised.”
