Frontier Security, a developer of integrated enterprise security management solutions for more than 35 years, announced recently the appointment of Norman Gilster as the company’s new Western Region Channel Manager, North America.

Along with experience as a manufacturer and integrator, Gilster brings to Frontier a unique perspective on specifying comprehensive solutions with a specific focus on the unique needs of the end customer. Most recently, Gilster worked as the President of Operational Data Analytics, a company dedicated to revealing the value of the hidden data accumulated by security and operational systems. Previously, Gilster was the Western Regional Director of Sales for Software House, a division of Tyco International; and prior to that role, he spent time as the Founder and President of SCI, a regional systems integrator based in Albuquerque, N.M.

“Frontier’s product offering is the result of 35 years of listening to customers and delivering solutions to deliver a robust layer of security,” Gilster said. “Offering world-class hardware and software solutions, Frontier pioneers the development of integrated security platforms that serve as a robust, scalable and functionally elegant alternative to other products.”

“Norm is a great addition to the Frontier team, melding his experiences as an integrator and manufacturer to strongly communicate the best possible solutions to Frontier’s solution partners and end users,” said Jeremy Krinitt, General Manager, Frontier. “We are excited to welcome him to the growing team, which is enabling us to position the company for success and growth in the coming years.  I am excited to be working with Norm again.”

“We welcome Norm on board with great enthusiasm. His vast experience in the integrated security space will be an asset to our entire organization and the Frontier channel as well,” said Jeff Stout, VP of Channel Development, Frontier.

Frontier Security showcased its new security solutions, including the Cylon Security Controller, at booth 2325 at the 60th Annual ASIS conference in Atlanta, Sept. 29 through Oct. 2. In addition to demonstrating the capabilities of its technologies, which have been implemented by leading organizations across the country, Frontier demonstrated how it designs solutions that answer the fundamental security challenges of today’s most complex security challenges.
