HID announced partnership with Lipi for local assembly and distribution of HID Global's Fargo brand printers in India
HID Global, the trusted worldwide leader in providing solutions for the delivery of secure identity, announced its partnership with Lipi Data Systems Ltd. (Lipi, thereafter), for local assembly and distribution of HID Global's Fargo brand printersin India. The partnership reaffirms HID's commitment and position in India that represents growth opportunity for secure issuance solutions.

"This technical collaboration with Lipi responds specifically to the strong market demand for HID Global secure issuance solutions in India."

Located at Udaipur, India, the new production and assembly plant for HID's Fargo brand printers began its operation as of June 2009, while the first lot of locally assembled printers is scheduled for delivery in early July. Production of different models of HID Fargo brand  printers will be implemented in a progressive manner.
