At ASIS 2013, Securitron, an ASSA ABLOY Group company, is showing off its new M380 Series Magnalock, a stylish addition to the Magnalock line with advanced features that include an optional embedded CCTV camera and motion detector.
With its 600 lb holding force, the Securitron M380 is ideal for traffic control in interior access control applications where fail-safe locking operation and free egress are desired. The protective cover offers tamper-resistant protection to the lock, optional camera and motion detector. A slim, compact 10-inch profile eliminates the clutter of multiple access control devices around a doorway. The M380 provides a sleek appearance that complements the most elegant architectural and designer surroundings.
The M380 offers the fastest, most secure installation of any bracket-mount magnetic lock. Its patent-pending template and bracket mounting system enable accurate alignment between the magnet and armature plate to ensure maximum holding force, and require a short installation time of typically 30 minutes or less. By combining common door control elements into a single package, the M380 provides labor, time and cost savings for all security professionals and integrators.
The Securitron M380 can be used with interior inswing or outswing doors, with metal, wood or glass doors with aluminum frames. It features a built-in autosensing microprocessor and Securitron’s patented BondSTAT lock bond sensor and door position monitoring for ultra-reliable operation. The M380 can be optionally ordered with a passive infrared adjustable motion detector request-to-exit device (REX) and/or a color or black and white CCTV camera. Other M380 features include a variable 0 – 30-second auto-relock timer, configurable status LED indicator, an anti-tamper switch and more. The M380 is available in a variety of finishes including satin aluminum, black, brass, bronze or brown and polished brass.
