Moxa announced recently it will be showcasing its solar dataloggers with a live cloud-based panel monitoring demonstration at the Solar Power International Conference & Exhibition, taking place October 21-24, 2013 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Solar PV and inverter manufacturers, system integrators, distributors or anyone who would like to learn more about the latest solar applications are invited to visit Moxa booth #4622.

Solar energy is often regarded as the most efficient renewable source for generating electricity, but constant monitoring, management and control is necessary to ensure maximum energy output. Moxa has played a leading role in solar data logging for more than a decade, working closely with customers to find new, innovative ways to capture solar electrical performance measurements and to package them into actionable data sent across a network.
In addition to dataloggers, Moxa manufactures a suite of network hardware solutions for the solar industry including industrial-grade embedded computers, servers and switches needed to manage a highly dependable, efficient renewable energy plant. Its hardware enables users to easily and quickly monitor and retrieve real-time inverter and weather data over Ethernet networks and the Internet, and is currently being used by leading providers of solar monitoring solutions.
