Arecont Vision® MegaView® 2 IP Megapixel Bullet Cameras With New Features And Functions
Arecont Vision® MegaView® 2 IP Megapixel Bullet Cameras With New Features And Functions

Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP megapixel camera technology, has added a number of significant features to the company’s popular MegaView® 2 true day/night bullet style megapixel cameras. New features of the MegaView® 2 IP bullet camera debuted at Intersec 2015 include Arecont Vision’s groundbreaking STELLAR™ (Spatio TEmporal Low Light ARchitecture) Low Light Technology, optional on-board storage; CorridorView™; and non-integer scaling. The MegaView® 2 IP bullet camera delivers STELLAR™ Low Light Technology to reduce motion blur, noise and storage requirements. The technology enhances contrast and produces color imaging in near complete darkness on 1.2MP models. Due to its outstanding ability to capture object details in extreme lighting conditions, this camera is ideal for many low light applications. To reduce the risk of losing important data from short network outages or to help reduce network strain from high storage costs, the MegaView® 2 IP bullet camera includes local storage supporting up to a 32 SD/SDHC card. The CorridorView™ feature allows the camera’s image to be rotated 90 degrees to reduce capturing unnecessary data. This works great for narrow hallways where pixels are often wasted due to capturing the surrounding walls. Reducing bandwidth and storage costs whenever possible is added value for any network. The MegaView® 2 IP bullet camera features non-integer scaling which provides the ability to scale images to different resolutions down to 128x96. This flexibility allows users to tailor their system for their specific need; reducing system bandwidth and storage costs. MegaView® 2 IP bullet cameras feature Arecont Vision’s true wide dynamic range (WDR) technology which provides a dynamic range of up to 100dB at full resolution without lowering frame rates (1080p and 3MP models). By combining long and short exposures in the same field of view, WDR maximizes the amount of detail in both bright and dark areas of a scene. The WDR performance of Arecont Vision® cameras represents up to 50dB improvement (300X) in dynamic range compared to conventional megapixel cameras. “Arecont Vision® continues to establish new benchmarks in megapixel performance to address the evolving needs of our customers,” said Raul Calderon, Senior Vice President, Arecont Vision®. “As we continue to innovate new megapixel imaging products, we will also continue to improve upon existing market leading products such as our MegaView® 2 Day/Night megapixel cameras by adding enhanced features such as STELLAR™ that further improve their performance and coverage capabilities.” Additional performance features found in MegaView® 2 bullet cameras include: remote focus/zoom p-iris lenses, integrated infrared illuminators, wide angle or telephoto options; H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10)/MJPEG dual encoders; privacy masking; extended motion detection with 1,024 distinct motion detection zones; pixel binning for increased light sensitivity (3MP, 5MP and 10MP models); IP66 environmentally rated housings for use in harsh environments; flexible cropping to adjust image sizes; and the ability to choose PoE (Power over Ethernet) or external power. MegaView® 2 Telephoto cameras are available with integrated long distance infrared illuminators in resolutions of 1080p, 3MP, 5MP and 10MP.The new cameras seamlessly integrate with a wide range of third-party providers, since they are PSIA and ONVIF conformant.

Arecont Vision SurroundVideo Omni 2nd Generation Brings Outstanding User-Selected 180-360° HD Megapixel Coverage
Arecont Vision SurroundVideo Omni 2nd Generation Brings Outstanding User-Selected 180-360° HD Megapixel Coverage

SurroundVideo® Omni G2 is the first HD panoramic camera to feature 4 user-configurable, remote focus modules. There is nothing else like it All 4 sensors can be independently set in any orientation around a 360° magnetic track, including looking straight down for no blindspots. Omni replaces multiple single-sensor or PTZ cameras for non-stop HD quality video coverage of hallways, lobbies, restaurants, parking lots, traffic circles, intersections. Better coverage & images from one Omni camera. SurroundVideo® Omni G2 The SurroundVideo Omni G2, new generation multi-sensor camera design, meets the highest level of flexibility. The unique, future-proof platform provides organizations of all sizes the flexibility to deploy a security system that truly matches their current video surveillance needs, and the simplicity to make changes if you need to in the future. The SurroundVideo® Omni G2, pushes the ease of installation even further providing users with four remote focus lens options on a unique 360° magnetic track encompassed in a single indoor/outdoor, impact-resistant housing. Resolution The SurroundVideo Omni G2 series features a choice of 12- or 20-megapixel resolution options. These cameras include four individual true day/night sensors that provide an all-in-one solution for capturing wide area video surveillance while maximizing the field-of-view and reducing the total number of cameras required; saving installers time and end users money. Optic For added flexibility, users can place the four individual three-axis lens gimbals independently in nearly any configuration on the track for applications such as to see down all four hallways or on the corner of a building for a 270° view. The three-axis lens adjustment provides users with more camera placement options, allowing the cameras to be easily mounted on a wall or ceiling so they can rotate the lens in a variety of directions for a precise field of view. The customization of this camera is unparalleled offering a range of interchangeable lens options for each individual sensor including 2.1, 2.8, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 16mm options. Once mounted, the operator can quickly focus the camera remotely, eliminating the need to adjust the camera on-site. No more hassle individually installing multiple cameras to cover a wide area, manually focusing lenses, or risk of missing critical information. Rugged Design SurroundVideo® Omni G2 is designed for demanding environments. Subjected and certified to rigorous dust and water tests, the IP66 rating, and its extended operating temperature range make it ideal for outdoor applications. The IK-10 rated, rugged dome housing is perfect for deterring vandals since it can withstand the equivalent of 55 kg (120 lbs) of force. Ease Of Installation The camera's interface allows for an intuitive, fast, and easy configuration. The Free AV IP Utility tool allows users to quickly configure multiple cameras at one time. The SurroundVideo® Omni G2 is PSIA (Physical Security Interoperability Alliance) compliant, providing interoperability between network video products regardless of manufacturer. Challenging Lighting Conditions For applications with bright or over saturated lighting conditions, the optional wide dynamic range feature delivers up to 100dB at full resolution (select 12MP models). For applications with poor lighting conditions, Binning Mode increases the camera’s low light performance by combining pixels so that more light can be collected.
